AAA tapes its weekly Saturday show tonight from the Auditorio José María Arteaga in Querétaro, and the card leans into the storyline that has driven the promotion all spring: American Made's invasion of lucha libre and El Grande Americano's civil war with himself. Two weeks out from Noche de los Grandes in Monterrey, this is the last full TV night before the May 30 special.

Tonight's Matches

- Aerostar and El Fiscal vs. Julius Creed and Brutus Creed - La Parka and Mr. Iguana vs. Money Machine (Colmillo de Plata and Garra de Oro) vs. Nueva Generación Dinamita (Forastero and Sansón) vs. Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento and Takuma) — four-way tag - Galeno del Mal vs. Chris Carter and Drago — handicap match, Galeno's debut

The main angle is the Creeds. Julius and Brutus turned up at the contract signing between the two Grandes Americanos to back the "Original" Grande Americano, and AAA's answer is to put them across the ring from Aerostar and El Fiscal — the dupla positioned as the heirs to Abismo Negro and the night's stand-in for Mexican lucha against the foreign invader. The size and power gap is the entire point of the booking. If the Creeds run through the Mexican team cleanly, the heat carries straight into Noche de los Grandes and the Máscara contra Máscara match between the two Americanos. If Aerostar and El Fiscal find a way to neutralize them, it complicates the Original Grande Americano's storyline coming out of the contract signing.

The four-way tag is where AAA is doing its roster work. La Parka and Mr. Iguana are the established crowd connection. Money Machine and Nueva Generación Dinamita are the CMLL-aligned credibility pieces in the post-Worlds Collide AAA-CMLL working relationship. Tokyo Bad Boys are the international slot AAA has been steadily expanding since the WWE crossover earlier this year. Four teams, four different segments of the audience.

The Galeno handicap match is the lowest-stakes booking on paper and the most informative. Handicap debuts in AAA are how the promotion telegraphs which monster heels are getting protected through Triplemanía season in September. Watch how cleanly he goes through Carter and Drago.

MaxxedOut's Take

This is a transitional TV night doing real work. The Creed match is the heat-builder for Noche de los Grandes. The four-way is the roster-positioning bout. The handicap match is the long-range Triplemanía read. AAA isn't padding the card around a single angle — it's using all three slots to push different parts of the calendar.

MaxxedOut will have results and breakdown after the show.
