On August 26, 1991, WWE staged a wedding in the middle of Madison Square Garden. The couple had already been married for nearly seven years.

The only scripted part of Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth's marriage is the only part anyone remembers. This is the story of the Match Made in Heaven: the sincere fairytale WWE ran completely straight, the snake that crashed the reception twelve days later on free TV, and the third ending nobody scripted.
