WWE: The Shield and the Chair

Season 3 · Episode 2 · Aug 11, 2026 · 9:33

The Chair Roman Reigns Never Swung / Roman Reigns Ended a Fourteen Year Story by Doing Nothing.

At SummerSlam 2026, Roman Reigns stood over Seth Rollins holding a steel chair. Twelve years earlier, Rollins swung one into his back and ended The Shield.

He put it down.

Three spears, a three count, and then a dog mask set in the middle of the ring for the brother who was not there. This is the story of the chair that held the longest running story in modern wrestling together, from three men coming through the crowd at Survivor Series in 2012 to the night Roman Reigns refused to swing it.

Some stories do not end with what happens. They end with what does not.
