Samoa Joe and Tommaso Ciampa beat AEW World Champion Will Ospreay and National Champion Andrade El Ídolo in the main event of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, according to AEW's official results. Ciampa hit Andrade with a DDT using the National Championship belt, and Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch for the finish. Ciampa will challenge Andrade for the National Championship at WrestleDream on Saturday, October 17, in Orlando.

Both championship matches on the show ended with the champion retaining. Kazuchika Okada kept the International Championship over Myron Reed. WrestlingInc and AEW both list the Rainmaker as the finish, and Okada blocked a 450 splash from Reed with his knees along the way. The win made Okada the sixth qualifier for the Clockwork Carnage match, AEW said. Darby Allin retained the TNT Championship over Hechicero with a Coffin Drop and took the eighth and final Clockwork Carnage spot. After the bell, all of the qualifiers brawled until officials separated them to close the show.

The biggest news came after another qualifier. Adam Copeland beat Josh Alexander with a Spear, after countering with an electric chair drop into the turnbuckle. Copeland then took the microphone. AEW's results page quotes him saying, "2027 will be my last year in wrestling." He said he intends to chase the AEW World Championship while he still can. Don Callis then attacked Copeland with members of his Don Callis Family, and Konosuke Takeshita and The Conglomeration made the save.

Takeshita had earned his own spot earlier in the night, forcing Brian Cage to submit to the Dragon Sleeper. Ricochet also qualified by beating Ace Austin, AEW reported. AEW lists the full Clockwork Carnage field as Ospreay, Speedball Mike Bailey, Samoa Joe, Copeland, Takeshita, Ricochet, Okada and Allin.

Also on the show, Mark Davis, Jake Doyle and Wardlow of the Don Callis Family beat Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia and Gabe Kidd of the Death Riders in the opener, with Davis pinning Moxley. That sets up Moxley against Davis for the AEW Continental Championship at WrestleDream. In a trios match, Triangle of Madness defeated Mercedes Moné and Divine Dominion when Thekla pinned Lena Kross.

AEW also confirmed or announced several other matches for WrestleDream, including Nick Wayne against Chris Jericho in a rubber match, a four-way for the TBS Championship with Persephone, Hyan, Dani Luna and Queen Aminata, and the start of a best-of-five series between FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns.

As of Wednesday night, the eight-person Clockwork Carnage field is set, and WrestleDream takes place Saturday in Orlando.
