El Grande Americano retained the AAA Mega Championship by pinning Dominik Mysterio on Week 1 of AAA Héroes Inmortales, which aired on FOX on Saturday, October 24, WWE.com reported. Dominik was accompanied by Omos and Dorian Roldán. The match was a rematch of their Triplemanía 34 meeting, where the title changed hands.

The show was the 18th edition of Héroes Inmortales and was taped at Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City. Americano's win was one of three title matches on the broadcast, and all three champions left with their belts.

Los Perros del Mal, made up of Ángel, Berto and Daga, retained the AAA World Trios Championship by pinfall over La Parka, Mr. Iguana and Niño Hamburguesa. WWE.com noted a post-match angle after the trios match involving Big Mami and Karmen Petrovic of Perros del Mal.

La Catalina also kept her title. She retained the Reina de Reinas Championship by pinfall in a triple threat against Flammer and La Hiedra.

The advertised AAA World Cruiserweight Championship match between Rey Fenix and Mini Vikingo did not take place. WWE.com attributed the change to an elbow injury to Mini Vikingo. Wrestling Inc reported earlier in the week, citing PWInsider Elite, that Vikingo was dealing with an elbow issue and had missed the October 20 episode of WWE NXT. The severity and recovery timeline have not been disclosed, and Wrestling Inc said AAA had not publicly acknowledged the injury on its social media accounts when that report ran.

The cruiserweight title match is expected to move to Week 2 of Héroes Inmortales, scheduled for October 31. Whether Mini Vikingo will be cleared for that date is not yet known.

For now, Americano remains Mega Champion, Perros del Mal hold the trios titles, and La Catalina is still Reina de Reinas heading into Week 2.
