Enzo Amore says he will "throw hands" if he is disrespected, and he criticized AEW for letting backstage fights become public. PWMania and Ringside News reported the comments, which came in an interview with former WWE wrestler Maven Huffman posted on YouTube.

Huffman asked Amore about an alleged bus altercation involving Curtis Axel, a story that originated with Heath Slater. Amore expressed surprise that the story was public and declined to give specifics, PWMania wrote. Ringside News quoted him as saying, "That's funny, man. And I never heard anybody talk about that incident ever."

Amore then described his own approach: "I'm not a dick. I'm just a really good guy but you take my kindness for weakness, I immediately throw hands."

He contrasted WWE with AEW on how fights are handled. "What happens in the WWE locker room as far as fistfights never left," Amore said. Ringside News quoted him adding, "If I fist fought another guy in the locker room, you probably never heard of it." PWMania also quoted him as saying, "We are some badasses that you got to keep some credibility in that locker room."

In profane language, Amore faulted AEW for the fighting that goes on there and for letting it leak. Ringside News summarized his core argument as one about confidentiality: disputes happen in locker rooms at both companies, and in his telling WWE kept them private while AEW did not.

What happened on the bus has not been confirmed. Amore did not describe the incident, and the account that began with Slater has not been detailed by Amore himself.

For now, the Axel story rests on Slater's account, and Amore's remarks about AEW are his own view of how each company handles locker room disputes.
