Oba Femi and LA Knight are both off WWE television but are reportedly healthy, according to a Sean Ross Sapp Q&A on Fightful Select. Neither absence is tied to an injury.
Femi last appeared on the October 12 edition of Raw, following his Money in the Bank win over Bronson Reed, Wrestling Noticias reported. Fightful's report says WWE has no big plans for him before a program with Roman Reigns that is targeted for WrestleMania 43. That event is set for 2027 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, so it is not an immediate title match. Wrestling Noticias said Femi called out Reigns after Money in the Bank, and Reigns is the current World Heavyweight Champion, per Wrestling Inc. The report ties the time away from television to the long lead time before that program.
Wrestling Noticias, citing WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, said early creative discussions point to Femi facing Reigns on Night Two of WrestleMania 43 for the World Heavyweight Championship. Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that the match is among WWE's major plans for next year. Those plans have not been announced by WWE.
Knight has not appeared on television since the October 12 Raw. According to the Fightful report, his absence is not tied to an injury, a contract issue or any cuts. The report does not give a creative reason for the time off and describes it as a non-story.
No return date has been reported for either wrestler. As of November 3, Femi and Knight are both off television and reported to be healthy.
