Michin and B-Fab won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship from Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley on the October 23 SmackDown, and Chelsea Green retained the WWE Women's Championship over Roxanne Perez, according to WWE.com. The show closed with Penta, Trick Williams and Rey Fenix beating Sami Zayn, Johnny Gargano and Ricky Saints in a six-man tag. That win sets up Zayn against Williams for the Undisputed WWE Championship on next week's show.

The tag title change came with help from Jade Cargill. WWE.com wrote that "The right fist of Jade Cargill helps Michin and B-Fab defeat Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Title," and said Cargill's punch distracted the referee. PWInsider reported that Michin pinned Paxley with the Styles Clash. Bliss and Paxley had entered the match as champions.

In the Women's Championship match, Green retained with the Un-Pretty-Her, WWE.com said. PWInsider described the finish as coming after Perez missed a splash. Raquel Rodriguez interfered during the match, and IYO SKY confronted her, according to both outlets.

After the bell, WWE.com reported that Women's World Champion Liv Morgan, Perez and Rodriguez attacked Green and SKY, but Miss Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton hit the ring to save the pair. The site wrote that "Tiffy then nearly cashed in her contract on Morgan before The Judgment Day pulled her to safety." The cash-in did not take place.

The main event built out of the show's opening segment. PWInsider reported that Zayn, the Undisputed WWE Champion, was interrupted by Fenix and Williams, and that Williams demanded a title match. Nick Aldis then booked Zayn and Gargano against Williams and Fenix for later in the night. That match ended by disqualification when Saints pulled Fenix off the apron, according to both outlets. In the six-man tag that followed, Williams pinned Saints with the Book End. WWE.com noted the win came "next week on SmackDown" ahead of his Undisputed WWE Title match against Zayn.

Also on the show, Blake Monroe defeated Giulia in a Street Fight. WWE.com credited the win to a move onto chairs followed by the Neutralizer, while PWInsider described that spot as a suplex off the ring steps onto chairs. The Neutralizer produced the three-count. The MFTs and Bakusai brawled after Kyoki stole Haku's staff, and neither outlet recorded a finish.

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton were also made official for WWE Crown Jewel. After Aldis announced the match, WWE.com wrote that "The American Nightmare ups the ante by proposing a Last Man Standing Match." Crown Jewel takes place November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. CM Punk and Kevin Owens traded insults in a segment with Aldis, and PWInsider reported their match is set for Brooklyn in two weeks.

As of Saturday, Zayn is scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Williams on the October 30 SmackDown, and Rhodes and Orton are set for a Last Man Standing Match at Crown Jewel on November 7.
