Laynie Luck, Marcus Mathers and Sam Holloway have each confirmed they are leaving WWE's ID program, with the announcements coming between October 9 and October 12, according to reports from Fightful and WrestlingInc. None of the three gave a reason for leaving.

Mathers announced his exit on Friday, October 9, on X, WrestlingInc reported. He spent two years in the program and called it "incredible." "I want to thank WWE for their time!" Mathers wrote, adding that "Time is the most valuable thing any of us can give." WrestlingInc said he has bookings lined up, including a House of Glory match against Amazing Red and a match against Nick Gage. Before leaving, he wrestled Conan Lycan in a dark match ahead of NXT on October 6.

Luck's departure was reported the same day. WrestlingInc said her WWE contract expires the week of October 9 and that no renewal is planned. Luck lost the WWE ID Women's Championship to Monica Monroe on October 3 at Reality of Wrestling in Texas, ending a reign that began in November 2025 and ran more than 300 days. WWE sources described the non-renewal to WrestlingInc as a "surprise." Luck confirmed the news on social media, writing, "My turn to be the hottest free agent."

Holloway followed on October 12, according to Fightful. His statement read: "My time in the WWE ID Program has come to an end. Thank you for an incredible two years filled with unforgettable experiences, opportunities, and lessons that will stay with me throughout my career." Fightful reported that Holloway joined the program in November 2024 and last appeared on WWE EVOLVE on September 9.

Why each of the three is leaving has not been stated, and WrestlingInc's report on Luck says only that the non-renewal was unexpected inside WWE. As of Wednesday, all three have publicly confirmed they are out of the program.
