WWE's new "WWE Top 10" video ranking the greatest Money in the Bank cash-ins does not include Edge, the first winner in the match's history. The video was released ahead of Money in the Bank 2026, which takes place October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
WrestleTalk and Sacnilk both published the full ranking. Liv Morgan's 2022 win is number one, followed by Seth Rollins in 2014 and Big E in 2021. IYO SKY (2023) is fourth, Damian Priest (2023) fifth, and Brock Lesnar (2019) sixth. Naomi (2025) is seventh, CM Punk (2008) eighth, Carmella (2017) ninth, and The Miz (2010) tenth.
Edge won the first Money in the Bank ladder match in 2005 and cashed in the contract at New Year's Revolution in 2006, WrestleTalk noted. Neither the win nor the cash-in appears on the list. WrestleTalk also pointed out that Dean Ambrose's 2016 cash-in and Dolph Ziggler's 2012 cash-in were left off.
Edge, whose real name is Adam Copeland, now performs in AEW under the name Cope.
Sacnilk's report on the ranking does not address Edge's absence. It noted that Money in the Bank 2026 had passed 9,000 distributed tickets ahead of the October 10 show.
WWE has not said how the list was put together or why Edge was not included. The ranking was published as a video on WWE's YouTube channel, and no written article accompanied it, so the selection criteria have not been explained.
As of October 4, the list stands as published, with Liv Morgan at number one and Edge absent from all ten spots.
