Carmelo Hayes joined The 946 on Monday Night Raw on October 12, revealing himself as a masked attacker in the main event and helping the group beat down Solo Sikoa and The Usos, according to WWE.com. The six-man tag match ended in a no contest.

The match pitted Sikoa, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso against Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price of The 946, as WWE.com, WrestleZone and Khelnow all listed it. WWE.com reported that the bout turned into a brawl inside and outside the ring, and that Jaida Parker, who is also aligned with The 946, pulled the referee out of the ring to prevent a pin.

As Sikoa set up a Samoan Spike on Keys, a man in a bandana struck him with a crowbar, WrestleZone said. The attacker then removed the bandana to show he was Hayes. WrestlingInc wrote that Hayes helped The 946 beat down The Usos and Sikoa using a crowbar. CBS Sports wrote that The 946 kept up the assault on The Bloodline until the broadcast ended.

WrestleZone lists The 946 as Keys, Nima, Price and Parker, with Hayes revealed as the fifth member. Khelnow wrote that his arrival answered questions over Hayes' future with WWE.

What is not yet known is why Hayes made the move. WrestleZone noted that WWE has yet to explain why he joined the faction, and Hayes did not speak on screen to explain it. No follow-up match for The 946 against Sikoa and The Usos has been announced.

As of the end of Raw, Hayes stands with The 946, and WWE has not said what brought him to the group.
