Fightful Select reports that CM Punk and Cody Rhodes could meet again at WrestleMania 43, and that Roman Reigns against Oba Femi is also under discussion for the show. The report, published October 16 and carried by Wrestling Inc, places WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia. WWE has not announced either match.
Punk and Rhodes have already met at SummerSlam, and a source told Fightful Select the two could face off in a rematch of that match. The report describes both men as playing important roles at WrestleMania 43. Femi enters the picture as the 2026 King of the Ring winner, which is the credential the report uses to frame his possible match with Reigns.
On Reigns against Femi, Fightful Select said some of the sources it spoke to believe the match could main event the show. The wording across the report is cautious: sources believe, and matches could happen. None of it is described as final, and the report does not say either match has been booked.
Fightful Select also reported that Rhea Ripley, who is currently injured, is expected to play a part in the show. Separately, the report says Saudi organizers want The Rock to appear. He last wrestled at WrestleMania 40 in 2024.
Several points are still open. WWE has not announced an official date for WrestleMania 43, and the report notes that the date has not been a priority for the company. Whether Punk and Rhodes get a second singles match, and whether Reigns and Femi end up in the main event, has not been confirmed by WWE or by any named talent.
As of the October 16 report, Punk against Rhodes and Reigns against Femi are both being discussed for WrestleMania 43, and neither is locked in.
